MA4 Tip: Line Up Every Shot

Lining up disc golf shots has been the most challenging aspect of learning disc golf for me.

Part of the problem is that as I develop a better stroke, I have to adjust how I line up shots. But even now that I'm getting way more consistent with my throw and better form, I struggle to line up shots.

The first thing I have to do is spend the time to line myself up. That's what professional disc golfers do. They look at the shot. They imagine the line they want to hit. They select a disc and line up the shot.

I'm not better than a professional disc golfer, so I should do that too - line up my shots. For me, it's easy to rush a shot and not line it up correctly. On the other hand, it's rare if I take the time to line up a shot and the disc does not go where I want it to go, or close to it. If I don't line up a shot, it's all but guaranteed to not go where I want it to go.

So if you want the disc to go where it's supposed to go, take the time to line up your shots.

How do you line up shots? That's another post.
